Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as is Creativity in my Family. My dad was an artist in various mediums and my one sister paints. Some of my brothers dabble in pencil, pastels to all kinds of carpentry. The buck did not stop with me, as both my daughters are very talented. I might have inherited my talent from my dad however, I dedicate the gallery to my Mom, Vera Black. She was born on the 7th of December 1932 and died on the 2nd of April 2006, at the age of 73. She was my example in life, to never give up on anything you really want. First you fail, then try and try again. My Mom trusted in God, under any circumstance. Her constant references were "God willing; God will provide; Tomorrow is in God's hands."
All this wisdom from a woman who had many challenges in life, but never hesitated to assist and serve a fellow human being. While writing this intro I realize that I cannot honor my Mother, without honoring the Lord, first and foremost.
The Great Creator of all the eye can see. I thank You Lord for the people You place with us. The lives You plan for us. The love You bestow on us. The opportunities You give us and lastly, but far from least. The talent You give us. To God all the glory and honor and gratitude for the pleasure in creating art that people would enjoy.
